BIO:
Jessi Calvo is an artist who graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with a Bachelors in Criminal Justice and a minor in Photography. Calvo takes inspiration and themes from music, nature, mental health, cinema, personal experience to create her work. Her work appeared in the 2024 "We are the Problem" show at the Student Gallery South on the UNR campus. She continues to make her work specializing in portraits and nature influenced by her life and experiences.
Why Do I Do This:
It is often times difficult to find a good photographer at an affordable price. People should be able to have nice, quality photos without spending a fortune. I want to offer a service that is more reasonable and local. I want to connect with people on a personal level and help express them through photos.
